Community Based Development Organization Partnerships

MCRC has been certified through US Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Community Based Development Organization (CBDO) since 2008. MCRC met the eligibility requirements as a CBDO as per 24 CFR Part 570.204, therefore this agency may accept CDBG/CIP funds as a subrecipient and in turn contract with various nonprofits and City Departments to carry out projects specifically designed to promote neighborhood revitalization and/or community economic development

This partnership permits the MCRC to carry out activities through a contractual agreement with nonprofits that would otherwise be eligible for CDBG funds but would result in the City of Manchester exceeding the spending limitation. 100% of the beneficiaries reside within the NRSA. 2,500 individuals will benefit from these services.
